Promega Advent Calendar -
Terms and Conditions December 2022

How great that you join our online advent calendar!!!! It is just for fun and no purchase is needed to join. We have some rules though to make it run smoothly for all. By participating in the Promega Nordic Christmas Countdown Calendar and the related promotions, you as a contestant accept the following terms and conditions of participation:

•    The Christmas Countdown Calendar is open to all customers of Promega Biotech AB aged 18 or over who are based in one of the Nordic countries or Estonia. Employees of Promega, as well as members of their families, are excluded from the game. Promega reserves the right to exclude persons or organizations from participating in the Christmas Countdown Calendar.

•    In the period from Thursday 1 December to Friday 23 December 2022, weekdays only, the winner will be drawn daily from all participants who have registered and answered correctly. Winners will be notified by e-mail within 7 business days.

•    Participation in the game is free of charge – no purchase is required. Prizes will be delivered, where possible in person, at an agreeable time in December or in early 2023, only to addresses in one of the countries served by Promega Nordic (Nordic countries and territories and Estonia). Only participants who answered questions correctly and provided all the required data during the registration process will be included in the draw. Payment of the prize value in cash, exchange, or transfer of rights to the prize to third parties is excluded.  It is the participant's responsibility to provide the correct address. Promega does not guarantee the correctness of the published names of the winners.

•    Winning goods are covered by the manufacturer's warranty unless other information is provided.

•    You may opt to decline the gift and ask Promega to make a donation to a charity fund.

•    Every effort will be taken to deliver the gifts as shown, however, we reserve the right to substitute with gifts of equivalent value and quality should the original gift become unavailable.

•    Promega reserves the right to disqualify any purchaser reasonably believed to have breached, undermined, or subverted in any way the legitimate operation of this promotion, whether by deceptive or wilful activity or otherwise.

•    It is the responsibility of the person entering the competition to ensure that entering this promotion does not conflict with internal rules and regulations within their organization. In particular, and without limiting the foregoing, he/she warrants that his/her employers have full knowledge of their actions and have consented thereto. Promega cannot be held responsible for any dispute within an organization with regards to which individual should be allocated the prize, nor can Promega be held responsible for any defect in any reward.

•    By participating in this promotion, the contestant agrees to waive all rights to claim against Promega and its respective parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents in respect of any and all liability for any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Promotion (including but not limited to the receipt, use, or misuse of any prize or any component thereof but excluding any death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Promega Biotech AB).

•    If for any reason, the promotion is not capable of running as planned, including because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, force majeure, or any other cause beyond the control of Promega which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, Promega reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.

•    Swedish law will apply to this promotion.
